Listen: PUSHER – BTDT (Featuring Caroline Kole)

When a promo drops into my mailbox that states the artist/band/producer are from Toronto I will instantly take note, There are two reasons for this – 1. Toronto is my favourite place on the planet and more importantly Toronto has some really fine music coming out of it right now across all genres. So when I got the email for PUSHER’s brand new single ‘BTDT’ which see’s the Toronto based producer team up with vivacious songstress and Nashville songstress Caroline Kole, I was excited to see what I had, and what I had was a perfectly crafted piece of electro pop dance music.

The new single has already topped Spotify Canada’s NMF playlist and with it catchy melody and bouncy synths played with Kole’s powerful vocal ‘BTDT’ can keep the summer vibes flowing as winter starts to take hold.

Speaking of the collaboration Kole says “I’ve been a fan of PUSHER’s for a long time, and after he did an incredible remix of my song ‘What If,’ we decided to create some entirely new music together. ‘BTDT’ was a lot of fun to write, and I’m so excited that PUSHER and I get to put this track out into the universe and even play a few shows together in the coming months.”

PUSHER says of working with Kole “Caroline has such a powerful voice and is such a fun person and performer. I’m very excited to be releasing ‘BTDT’ with her, In a lot of ways, 2018 has been a year of empowerment for women, and I think her lyrics are a fresh, fun, poppy reflection of that zeitgeist. I hope fans of Caroline and myself, and the as yet unfamiliar, enjoy the song half as much as we enjoyed putting it together.”
